Times Are Changing
Hi everyone, Halesowen Self Drive will be changing its opening times on Saturdays. We will be open between 8am-10am and reopen between 4pm-6pm.
Small Print
- £250 refundable deposit (payable by credit or debit card)

- AA Breakdown Recovery included (terms apply)
- Up to 200 miles per day (100 miles per half day) is included in the hire price, 10p per mile if you go over
- To keep things simple, we just ask that you return the van with the same amount of fuel in as when you collected it
- Please bring your licence, an official letter dated within the last 3 months matching the address on your licence and a valid Licence Check Code from the DVLA
- Bookings that include a Friday, Saturday or Sunday require a £20 part payment to secure. Please call the office to make this payment once completing your booking
- If moving home, we'll need some evidence of your new address too
- Due to the high number of recent thefts of our vehicles, we will require you to return the vehicle by 5:00pm on the day of hire unless you have arranged to drop-off the following morning between 7:30am and 8:00am. Speak to staff if you have any questions

Open 7 days a week
Hi everyone, hope you all had a great bank holiday. If you would like to hire a van during the weekend and you only need it for 1 day we are open 7 days a week.
Van Hire
If your looking to move home and need a large van at Halesowen Self Drive, we have Lutons with tail lifts to help ease the lifting into the back.
These Lutons are pretty big and will most likely be capable of moving a 2-bedroom house in one run.
The Latest Look
We are proud to announce Halesowen Self Drive have updated two of our latest vans with the new company logo! In the pictures below you can see are the short wheel base transits £60 a day hire or £40 for half day hire.
Half-Day Rental
During the week, we do half-day rentals Monday to Thursday 8am – 1pm or 1pm – 6pm, prices range from £35 – £50.
This covers our whole range, from a Ford Transit Connect to a Ford/Mercedes Tail Lift Luton.

Half Day Rentals
This year we have a new range of smaller vans in our fleet which are available for half day rental.
If you’re looking to move a few smaller items little vans are perfect for the job, whether you’re picking up a new washing machine, new TV or going to the garden centre.
If this is something you’re doing this week and you only need the van for a for hours, we do half day van rentals to help keep the price down.
