Licence Summary

Hi All, as you maybe or may not be aware of new rules when renting any vehicle with your license. You are now required to produce what is called a licence summary up on arrival for your hired vehicle. The way to obtain this licence summary is to go on the DVLA website were they require your driving licence number, national insurance number and post code which find on the bottom of your licence. Enter this details were stated and proceed to the share information; this is where you share the information with your rental company. Here you need to click the create check code which them will appear in big writing in the middle of the screen. Just below that is says, view and print and this will bring your licence summary up and ready to print. If you still have problems doing this please bring your national insurance number with you as well as your licence and our team will proceed with your driving licence summary.

  • Up to 200 miles per day (100 miles per half day) is included in the hire price, 10p per mile if you go over
  • To keep things simple we just ask that you return the van with the same amount of fuel in as when you collected it
  • Please bring your licence, an official letter dated within the last 3 months matching the address on your licence and a valid Licence Check Code from the DVLA
  • Bookings that include a Friday, Saturday or Sunday require a £20 part payment to secure. Please call the office to make this payment once completing your booking.
  • If moving home we'll need some evidence of your new address too.
  • Due to the high number of recent thefts of our vehicles, we will require you to return the vehicle by 5:00pm on the day of hire unless you have arrange to drop-off the following morning between 7:30am and 8:00am. Speak to staff if you have any questions.
